Patti Smith, (born on December 30, 1946), is an influential American singer, songwriter, poet, and visual artist, widely regarded as one of the pioneers of the punk rock movement in the 1970s.

Patti Smith has announced an international tour in celebration of the 50th anniversary of her album Horses. Smith’s first show of the trek will take place on Oct. 6 in Dublin.
