The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Thursday a new type of prescription pain medication for moderate to severe acute pain for adults.
These include over-the-counter pain relievers, triptans, ditans, gepants, dihydroergotamine, steroids (usually for attacks that don’t respond to other treatment) and antinausea medications.
