You shouldn’t bring a knife to a gunfight, as the saying goes, but bringing spoons to a Mardi Gras parade might be just the ticket. At least that’s the plan for members of Krewe Bon Appetit, who will be throwing hand-decorated wooden spoons when their float makes its way through the crowd at Friday night’s Krewe of Krewes Parade.
