Jaylen Brown has earned a sport in his fourth NBA All-Star Game, the second-most selections by a former Cal player. Brown will play as a reserve in the Feb. 16 game at the Chase Center.

That’s been the recent pattern for the former Cal star. Semien finished third in the American League MVP voting with the A’s in 2019, the Blue Jays in 2021 and the Rangers in 2023.
