Some congressmen, in relief and joy, waved Ukrainian flags ... the Eiffel Tower was lit up in blue and yellow. So was the Colosseum, in Rome. So was Warsaw’s National Theater.

It is amazing that the State Department’s “one flag” directive could be controversial. Even more amazing is how we got here in the first place.
