The 18-wheeler that was suspected of causing a deadly crash near Beltway 8 is no longer wanted by Houston police.

Originally, it was reported that an 18-wheeler crashed into multiple vehicles on Friday evening near Beltway 8.

Houston police are searching for an 18-wheeler they claim crashed into five vehicles on Sam Houston Parkway on Friday, killing one person, before leaving the scene.

At this point, it's not clear how the wreck happened. Houston Transtar says the wreck involved three vehicles.
