Arrest made after woman's body found in Newton County lake, sheriff says
NEWTON COUNTY, Ga. — A Loganville man has been arrested a week after the body of a woman was found in a Newton County lake. The Newton County Sheriff's Office said deputies arrested 53-year-old Travis Abbott on Monday, charging him with murder and concealing a death.

On March 3, Newton County Sheriff’s Office found Colette Sease’s body in a lake near Ga. 212 in Covington. Deputies said Sease did not die from drowning and that her cause of death was a homicide.
