Police on Monday identified the person who was fatally shot by an off-duty police officer inside a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Boston as a 32-year-old Roslindale man.

Two people were chased inside Chick-fil-A on Boylston Street around 5:27 p.m. by a man armed with a knife, officials said.
