CCTV footage reveals Sachin alias Dhillu, the prime suspect in the murder of Haryana Congress worker Himani Narwal, carrying a suitcase with her body. He allegedly strangled her using a phone charger cable following an argument and discarded her body near a bus stand.

Haryana Police arrested Sachin for murdering Congress worker Himani Narwal. The accused, who met Narwal on social media, strangled her after a fight and disposed of her body in a suitcase.

"She was going with Rahul Gandhi, she was close to the Hooda family, this is why people were having problems, they were jealous," she added. Narwal's mother claimed she was very close to Asha Hooda, the wife of Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

Sachin, a resident of Haryana’s Bahadurgarh (located some 50 kilometers away from Delhi), reportedly told police that he and Himani had been in a relationship. Her mobile phone and jewellery were also recovered from him.

The ADGP said that the accused befriended Himani on social media around one-and-half years ago and he had been visiting her Rohtak home regularly

The body of Himani Narwal was found inside a suitcase near a highway in Rohtak on March 1. Meanwhile, the police have formed a Special Investigation Task Force to probe the murder case.

One person has been arrested in the case so far and he has reportedly told the cops that he killed Himani Narwal after a fight on February 28.

The Haryana police on Monday arrested a ‘friend’ of Congress worker Himani Narwal for allegedly strangling her after a fight at her home and later dumping her body in a suitcase. Narwal’s body was found stuffed in a suitcase in Rohtak on Saturday.
