By Helen Reid LONDON (Reuters) -Sportswear group Amer Sports sees lower sales growth this year after a strong 2024, the company said on Tuesday as it reported fourth-quarter results boosted by sales of Salomon shoes and expensive Arc'teryx jackets.

Executives anticipate another year of profitable growth in 2025 driven by strength from the company’s Arc’teryx and Salomon brands.

In the fourth quarter, Amer Sports reported net income of $15 million, or 3 cents a share, reversing a loss of $93 million in the fourth quarter of the prior year, on a 23 percent gain in sales to $1.64 million. Adjusted net income was $236 million, or 47 cents a share.

The Technical Apparel segment, which includes the Arc’teryx and Peak Performance brands, increased 33 percent (+34 percent cc) to $745 million. The company said this reflects an omni-comp growth of 29 percent. Technical Apparel Adjusted operating margin increased 130 basis points to 24.3 percent of segment revenue.

Amer Sports, Inc. (NYSE: AS) reported Q4 results, exceeding revenue consensus of $1.6B and expects 13-15% growth in FY25.
