Haji Habibur Rehman is one of the first formal truck artists of Pakistan. He settled in Rawalpindi in 1955 at the age of 14 and has since been painting all kinds of trucks. He believes traditional truck art techniques are dying. “Truck art is slowly vanishing with stickers and plastic and steel ornaments, replacing the tedious work of painting by hand.”
