Dear People: While I have looked on the official site for Domitilla Catacomb tours, I am confused if we need to purchase tickets in advance or is pre-purchase only for groups. We are a couple who intend to visit in the later part of October 2018. Thank you so much for your time! Sincerely, Jennifer

Hi! We booked our tickets through a separate site. It was for a small group tour which turned out to be just me and my partner! It's a fascinating tour, I'm sure you'll love it!
We are headed to Italy late March and would like to visit the Catacombs you mentioned in your review. What is the best way to get there from the Colosseum? We will not have a car and will be traveling by train.

We too travelled by train through Italy. An alternative for any trip in Rome is an Uber which is about €25 from the colosseum to the catacombs . They are plenty and very reliable in Rome …
