Hi there, I'm looking for a relaxing place to stay in Croatia and someone recommended Rastoke to me. I'm just wondering if it's possible to reach it from Zagreb with buses and taxis? Any help is much appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Rastoke is not near Zagreb. A taxi would be very expensive. I don't know about buses. The best thing to do is to hire a car and drive there yourself.

Public transport is not very convenient. So best possible way to travel between cities in Croatia is car rental. Rastoke has few hotels and B&B's but there are many good ones on the highway between Zagreb and Plitvice. Plitvice park opens at 9am (check October timings on website)...reach before it opens.
