If I enter through Grand Lake before 9 am, do I need a timed permit pass? There does not seem to be any available for reservations. I know we can wait until the night before to obtain one, but we have a tour to make at 4 pm in Estes Park.

NO! Once you're in, you're in. If you then go through the park and into Estes Park, then getting back to Grand Lake without a time entry permit, you need to wait until after 2PM to go …
NO! Once you're in, you're in. If you then go through the park and into Estes Park, then getting back to Grand Lake without a time entry permit, you need to wait until after 2PM to go back to the west side of the park.
