Does this trail close at 7pm as listed on Google? I plan on arriving around 6-7pm to avoid crowds, will I be able to hike this trail still or will they close off the parking lot and the trail?

I don’t know but there is no obvious way to close off the trail. Likely more of a safety concern if after dark.

When you driving down the main road turn left after the first bunch of shops and the parking will be on the right. For the hike walk on the road after you parked and it will be on your left. Well marked.

There are new restrictions on the trail so going early is good as they will close the trail if too many people are on it. Enjoy.
How are the trails this year so far? Looking to go this coming weekend February 18th 2017!

We hiked the trail Dec 24 and 25, 2016, it was dry and a great hike. The rest of the Christmas week was wet and cold. I believe snow has stopped falling in Vancouver.
