I have a car booked for my Sri Lanka trip.However my travel agent informs me that the driver/guide we are getting for the trip is not allowed to drive within Polonnaruwa, thus we will need to hire tuk tuk to move around. Does anyone here has any experience hiring a tuk tuk? Biking is not an option as most of my party members are elderly who cant cycle.

Hi, my wife and I have been in Polonnaruwa on November 5th, 2017. We were self driving in a hired car. It was no problem to enter and to explore the archaeological site by car.
