Gillian was our personal guide and she was an absolute amazing guide. We felt like we've known her forever and that we could trust her with our lives (obviously) Honestly, the WHOLE gang was great!!!…Morgan L的完整评论
My husband and I will be camping next week, 8/17, in Ohiopyle, what is the minimum amount of people for a raft? We have Covid-19 concerns. Thank you!

When we went it was a minimum of 4 individuals. I will say I felt totally comfortable with going as all the educational information and safety briefings were held outside. And if you only have 4 people in the raft, you are pretty far spaced.
We have a 9 and 7 year old girls What would be the best tour for them

The minimum age for the Lower Yough is 12 if you're going with an outfitter, which I highly recommend (and it's even older for the Upper Yough). My 15-year-old son and I both fell out on one of the rapids on the Lower Yough, and we both had to admit it was a little scary for a minute there! So, I'd either try the Middle Yough first, or wait until your girls are old enough (12+) to do the Lower Yough, which is really fun.
We are planning to come in August and would like to raft the Lower Yough but will be traveling with 11 and 13 year old boys. Per the website, 11 years old is allowed if fully guided (which we would do anyways) BUT I wanted an opinion on safety and/or alternate recommendations. Both boys are competitive swimmers and I rafted the Lower (and Upper) as a much younger adult. The middle Yough will likely be too tame for us all..... Thanks!

The Lower Youghiogheny, Fully Guided, sounds like an excellent choice for your group. When making your reservation, be sure to let the reservationist know that you have a child under 12 and we will make sure we schedule a senior staff member for your trip.
The Lower Youghiohgeny is the perfect beginner section of whitewater. It is not real difficult, not real easy. Minimum recommended age is 12 but we will take children...
