It's one of the coolest and oldest world UNESCO sites I've seen. To get there, it's some sort of adventure and well worth the hike. There's also nobody there, so not touristy at all.SteveRainville99的完整评论

Really a fascinating complex of ruins in a stunning location. It’s surprising that this unique spot hasn’t been better researched and organized. But a wonderful excursion and magic place to explore.Mdurian的完整评论

Hi you will find Pohnpei a small Island. The locals there are friendly and especially the Hotel staff will be delighted to assist you. I actually googled it and was easy to find. Take in mind to bring dollar bills with as they fees by the locals. I think it was a dollar to pass on the road in which it leads, then like 3 dollars to pass the Prato lead you into the trail, the 5 once you get to NaN Madol.
I'm in Australia, and want to visit Nan Madol. Am having difficulty finding a travel agent that has booking info, etc. Is there an office to call for info, where do flights come from ? Need Visa to Micronesia ? Cheers in advance. Bob

Once on island your hotel can handle all matters needed to get to Nan Madol or you can just drive there and pay the 3 different entry fees (about USD 9) in person. No need to plan in advance. Go at High Tide if you wish to use boats to get around or go at Low Tide if you wish to walk.
