First of all, it's not really a trip. It's a boat ride along a short stretch of the river and then in and out under a couple of waterfalls. It's great fun, and getting soaking wet in the …

First of all, it's not really a trip. It's a boat ride along a short stretch of the river and then in and out under a couple of waterfalls. It's great fun, and getting soaking wet in the frigid water felt fabulous after a long, hot, humid day visiting the other parts of the park. At the location of the ride in that park, there are changing rooms (free) and lockers (small fee) where you can store your belongings while on the ride. There's a flight of rocky stairs to go down to the boats, so make sure that you have water shoes or something that will protect your feet and that you can get wet in the boat. When you get to the park, you will go to a counter to pay the basic entry fee and then choose any additional activities that you want to add on. I don't remember how much we paid for the ride because we had bundled the bird park, entry fee, the ride, and lunch into one package. You could do some research and search for prices. We purchased our tickets the day before at a travel agency across from our hotel. And yes, they do take credit cards.

Macuco is only in Brazil, Argentina has another operating company. The circuits are different, the one in Argentina goes closer to the big water falls than the one in Brazil. I only …

Macuco is only in Brazil, Argentina has another operating company. The circuits are different, the one in Argentina goes closer to the big water falls than the one in Brazil. I only did the Brazilian one, and was awesome!! Have fun!
