The tour guide told us there there are about 150 bars, just on Duval Street. Most of them have big screen televisions going non-stop, and they are crazy for all of the sports, including ice hockey, with one of the big bars having all sorts of ice hockey memorabilia on their walls (in a city that rarely dips below 80 degrees!). I forget which one, but search TripAdvisor photos of the bars in the old downtown and you will see hockey stuff all over the walls. You could also ask in the bars once you arrive and narrow it down in minutes.

The free shuttle is called the Duval Loop. There are a total of 14 stops along the loop. Each of the stops has a map of the entire Loop. Probably any of the hotels will be able to tell you the closest stop for the loop. It is very convenient. There is no need for a ticket or passes. This is a hop-on-hop-off bus.

Depends on what part of Duval you want to stay on. If you want to be on the Gulf side of Duval where most of the bars are, I would recommend the Pier House resort to stay. You can park your car in their private parking lot for $25/day. If you want to stay on the Atlantic side, you can check out any of the Southernmost resorts. Most have their own parking areas, but i'm not sure of the price.
